      The always dapper, American comedian Greg Proops with his retro hair, glasses, interesting voice and quirky mannerisms is best known for his unpredictable appearances on; “Whose Line is it Anyway?”, the US hit, improvised comedy show hosted by Drew Carey. Greg joins long time cohorts Ryan Stiles, Jeff Davis and Chip Esten in the live improv show, Whose Live Anyway? which they are constantly touring the US and Canada.

      Proops is also a regular on the long- running British version of WLIIA? Proops’ other television appearances include The Drew Carey Show and Flight of the Conchords.

      Indeed, Proops has a veritable catalogue of film and TV appearances to his name; including frquent guest appearances on The Late, Late show with Craig Ferguson, Chelsea Lately on E!, and on Red Eye with Greg Cutfield on Fox News. He is also the voice of an animated character in Star Wars Episode One: The Phantom Menace as well as the voice of Bob the Builder on the popular children’s series seen in the USA on PBS.

      Proops, a prominent stand-up comedian who has toured the world with his self-deprecating, flamboyant, quick comedy style laden with depth, range, and most importantly, great jokes is currently on tour in New Zealand as part of the International Comedy Festival. He performs in Wellington Friday, May 6 and Auckland Saturday, May 7.

      Greg will also host The Smartest Man in the World Free Proopcast in Wellington on Thursday, May 5 at The Fringe Bar, 191 Cuba St at 11.00pm.
